Reflect, for a moment, if you will, on your ever-evolving summit… For, you have climbed this climb several times…
You are climbing to the top of the mountain and you know you’re almost there. You can taste the sweet satisfaction in the air, you can feel the sinking of your feet syncing with each path they meet. That feeling is everything. And you want to revel in that feeling and live in that feeling and dance with that feeling.
Now you have found your rhythm. Now you’re making love to the exploration of this wild climb, making love to the exploration of yourself. It is then, that the dew drops of elation stream through you like the rivers run wild and free. You feel like you’re right where you’re meant to be. You’re moving forward, you can see the top.
And then, perhaps from out of nowhere, a gust of wind comes and knocks you down to the ground, or swiftly sweeps you off of your feet, depending upon perception, that is. And you find yourself back from whence you came, which is merely upon speculation, you see, you cannot go back to the start in this game.
But you know you’re now somewhere far further from where you just were. The top, that is. And as you look up, to the top where you were, from the ground where you’ve fallen, it may seem impossible to start back up again climbing. But, you see, like I said just before, you’re never starting over from where you once were.
You rest for a moment, or two, maybe three, and ponder the obstacles of this upcoming climb, and the stars, and how the sun and the moon shine. And as you ponder, you’re simply wasting your time. For, how can one ponder over a time that has not yet come? How can one ponder over a climb that has not yet been done?
So upon your destined decision to move forward on your feet, you build up your momentum, you pick up your speed. And soon you’ll start to realize that this climb is different from the last. This climb has different views; you’ll climb an undiscovered path.
This hike to the top will be nothing like the others, or perhaps very much the same. But all of that is up to you, perception is the game. It may be that the mountain top appears to stretch up higher the more you gaze upon it. But perhaps that’s just a tease and sweet distraction, like how the wind calls out your name to show you a new path that you think is still the same.
This path or that, is the same without question. That path and this, lead to the same destination. It is this, only this, that mirror each path of your choosing. But each path in totality is a reflection and creation. Ultimately, each path in each climb is the whole exploration. And it is in this, where you find that each path is a recommendation, from you unto you, and each time more appealing. Each time you’re expanding.
Now, you may begin to find, that each time you climb, the mountain is swelling and soaring further through the skies. Which should be no surprise, as this mountain is merely a reflection of you and what you see through your eyes.
You see, you, like all other things, are never finished, nor final. You’ve been playing your game from the start without knowing. But that lack in your knowing did not stop you from growing. It is in that growth that you cannot be stopped. It is that growth that keeps you climbing to the top, to the top, to the top.
Perhaps it is on that third climb or fourth, down that path or this, that you learn to move to the sound of your heart’s bliss and the calling of the wind’s hiss. But whether you’re climbing up or falling down or flying, depending upon perception, you’re still going somewhere, where you never were before. And it is that, that opens gateways and doors. You see, on a mountain that is always expanding, and in a game where you are always winning, you are forever beginning and becoming and completing.
